Author Guidelines

1. General Requirements

JK3N (Jurnal K3 Nusantara) welcomes scientific articles focusing on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in another journal.

2. Article Types

The journal accepts:

  • Research articles
  • Review articles
  • Other scholarly articles relevant to the field of OSH

3. Language

Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English using clear, systematic, and appropriate academic language.

4. Manuscript Structure

Research articles should generally follow the structure below:

  1. Title
  2. Author names and affiliations
  3. Abstract
  4. Keywords
  5. Introduction
  6. Methods
  7. Results
  8. Discussion
  9. Conclusion
  10. Acknowledgments, if applicable
  11. Conflict of interest statement, if applicable
  12. References

The structure may be adjusted for review articles or other types of scholarly contributions.

5. Title

The title should be concise, clear, informative, and accurately reflect the content of the article. Avoid using uncommon abbreviations.

6. Abstract

The abstract should briefly describe the background, objectives, methods, main findings, and conclusions of the study. It should be concise and informative.

7. Keywords

Authors should provide 3–5 keywords that are relevant to the content of the article.

8. Tables and Figures

Tables and figures must be numbered and provided with clear titles and must be appropriately referenced in the text. Tables or figures adapted from other sources must be properly acknowledged.

9. Citations and References

All sources cited in the manuscript must appear in the reference list, and vice versa. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all citations and references.

Authors are encouraged to use relevant and up-to-date scholarly sources and reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or similar applications.

10. Ethics and Originality

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original and free from plagiarism. Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, and other forms of academic misconduct are not permitted.

11. Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any conflict of interest that may influence the research findings or their interpretation. If no conflict of interest exists, an appropriate statement should be provided.

12. Review Process

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process to assess their quality, relevance, originality, and scientific contribution. The editor reserves the right to accept, request revisions, or reject manuscripts based on the editorial evaluation and peer-review results.

13. Publication Charges

JK3N applies a free Article Processing Charge (APC). Authors are not charged any publication fees.

14. Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted through the Open Journal System (OJS) of JK3N according to the prescribed format and requirements. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all author information and supporting documents are correctly provided before submission.
